The wedding that started it all... my own! I believe weddings should be a direct reflection of the couple and this was my dream too. Our colors? Jewel tones! My gown? A beautiful ballgown by the incomparable Reem Acra. My husband and I are high school sweethearts and waited a long five and half years before we got married. We both were living in Chicago at the time; however, being from the great state of Ohio, we wanted to get married close to our family and friends. While Canton, Ohio is my hometown, Cleveland is where we found our perfect venue: The Palace Theatre. I wanted a formal, black tie wedding, but without all the stuffiness. We had the ceremony in the foyer on the grand staircase with my husband's close family pastor officiating. Guests then made their way onto the stage for a ballroom dance lesson by an Arthur Murray instructor. After that, cocktails, a formal sit down dinner, and dancing into the night by Jerry Bruno Productions. My dream come true with my knight in shining armor. The Lord blessed me with a wonderful man to call hubby and a best friend to laugh through life with.
